On rare and cherished occasions, one finds themselves presented with the golden opportunity to embrace a touch of opulence and refinement. However, it is prudent to bear in mind that, despite the allure of red-carpet fashion, certain attire may not align with our esteemed evening formal dress code.
Let your visit to our distinguished establishment be an occasion to experiment with sartorial panache, employing tasteful embellishments such as chic accessories and pocket squares. In moments of uncertainty, erring on the side of overdressing is advised, with the caveat that adherence to our dress code need not come at an extravagant cost, nor does extravagance necessarily guarantee alignment with our evening formal attire guidelines. Regardless of gender expression, we kindly ask that you adhere to the guidelines below when selecting your choice of formal attire.
For those who require special ADA or medical exemptions, please direct your concerns to our Guest Services Manager.
For our evening dining experience, we insist upon the following dress code:
- Elegant dresses, evening gowns, or pantsuits accompanied by a suit jacket, with discretion exercised to ensure modesty and appropriateness.
- A complete suit: composed of a necktie, dress shoes, dress pants paired with a coordinating suit jacket, and a collared shirt with a tie.
- Women's dress shoes: Heels, ballet flats and ladies’ dress shoes
Necktie Alternatives:
- Banded collar shirts - those without the traditional folded collar (Mandarin collar shirts are not considered acceptable).
- Full turtlenecks (mock turtlenecks are not considered acceptable).
- Ascots, bolo, or bow ties are suitable alternatives to traditional neckties.
Management reserves the right to judge Members' and Guests' dress code decisions on a case-by-case basis. Further, the AMA insists that Members and Guests respect any dress code decisions AMA Staff render. Members and Guests are reminded to direct any questions to the Manager on Duty.
We ask that our Members assume the responsibility to inform their Guests as to the contents of the Dress Code so that it does not fall solely upon AMA Staff to do so once the Guests arrive at the Magic Castle®.
